Maddy Scott
Hi everyone - I’m Maddy - a business psychologist and ICF accredited coach from the UK, currently living in Dubai.

I completed a Master’s degree in Occupational Psychology back in 2014 - which I absolutely loved - and I’ve been working in roles focused on people development ever since. Whenever I do any work on defining my values, my top two always seem to be ‘contribution’ and ‘fun’. I interpret that as wanting to do impactful work that actually makes a difference - and making sure that everyone has an enjoyable experience at the same time!
I really enjoy coaching people - both individually and in groups - to be the best they can be, whatever that looks like for them. I’m a compassionate coach who encourages people to open up and talk about their current realities - the good and the bad - while also being motivated to help them consider what practical actions they want to take to move forwards.
I also love designing and facilitating engaging training programs that make people think. In my last role I led the design work for workshops and coaching programs related to leadership, management, careers, confidence and resilience - to name a few. Most of all I love bringing people together to help them realize that they are not alone with whatever it is they are finding challenging and I think working in the world of people development is one of the most exciting places to be.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young sons. My friends and family are very important to me - and I love it when people come to visit so I can show them the sights of the UAE. I’m a keen runner and I practice yoga regularly - although I definitely embrace the idea of not needing to be good at your hobbies with this one! I like reading, writing and listening to the occasional podcast. I love traveling and I’m trying really hard to improve my terrible French - mainly so my husband and children can’t speak in a secret language without me, but also so I don’t feel like an idiot when ordering un croissant in France.​
